The word "mentor" comes from the Greek language and has its roots in the terms "steadfast" and "enduring." In western thought, the term "mentor" is synonymous with one who is a wise teacher, a guide, a friend.

Mentoring for free is the building of a relationship and a partnership conducted via the Internet.

In many new home businesses. E-mails and places like Facebook can be the exclusive vehicle for you as a mentor to help others succeed in their internet marketing home business. Many people confuse mentoring for free with a get rich quick scam or a pyramid business

A pyramid scam only pays the people on the upper end of the scale from those hard workers at the bottom. Those on the bottom never see any of the rewards on any fair bases. Pyramid scams are illegal in most cases they are cash gifting or promissory programs. You should avoid any programs that are either of these types or programs that asks for money up front.

Mentoring for free uses the internet to get mentors to connect with prospective clients who are interested in making their MLM home business a success over the internet. Internet mentoring for free can be an additional communication tool for those who ordinarily would not meet in person. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of Multi level Internet Marketing

Before I start this post, I would like to give special thanks to my good friend and great Mentoring For Free  Mentor Darlene Mills for giving me the idea and skills of understanding to write this particular post.

Ok, that being said many of you out there who have a home network marketing business may have been doing it for years as where many of you are just getting started.  What ever the case may be you all have to grow with the ever-changing multi level marketing business world. You cannot rely on old ideas and marketing skills that are out dated or have gathered dust on the shelves as to the thinking patterns of every one you speak too being a perfect prospect for what you are marketing. You must always be sharp and ahead of the curve as to whom and what others are offering.

THE GOOD:
In multi level marketing, you can create a residual life long income if you are in a company that supports the five-pillar system. A company that does business with integrity and has a history of always being up on the competition as to creating life long friendships with their clients
understanding the needs of those, they choose to build their business with. Marketing is not the business of selling, as many believe. However, it is the business of building Life long partnerships.

THE BAD:
In building partnerships, we must always understand that not everyone we do business with is all in or will be a good business partner to build your business with. Many people make the mistake of thinking just because someone may show interest in what you are doing does not mean they will remain interested or join your business. In truth many potential clients start out strong with enthusiasm and a can do attitude. However once they realize that there is true work involved they seem to drop off or opt out very quickly.

True five-pillar company does require your time and effort. The fact is you must maintain and grow into your skill level. If you truly want a lifetime of success out of your multi level marketing business.

It is this reason that many fail because they simply lack the skills or know how to get the training they need in network marketing. The facts are clear, the system is geared to have high turn over’s. It is not the individual’s fault as to why many in multi level marketing business’s fail. It is the fault of the individual companies out there who are fly by night here today gone tomorrow masters at the game. Offering the world to their prospective clients
while at the same time, knowing fully what they are offering is limited. That will have nothing to do with lifetime success or building partnerships that can create residual income.

THE UGLY:
Most multi level marketing businesses have a bad reputation because there are thousands of people who nether know anything as to true marketing or have the skills to promote true opportunities.

That being said what they do know and are very good at is understanding the mind set of most people who are looking to make money. They are masters at web site building and wording their policies and procedures. Web sites that draw in the type of people who are not looking for a long term solution to their problems. However a quick pay out or a fast cash dash as I like to call them. Hundreds of splash pages that announce they have the fastest viral program on the internet that can not only make overnight millionaires but in fact require no work on the  part of the individual who is signing up. Why because they claim all the work has been done for you. The fact is each one of these plans have one thing that a true company does not have, they have a statement that they retain the right to change their claims and procedures and policies at any time.

Now the ugly part is that many times if those that are in the companies make money or a commission  check and that company is having a down turn. Well they simply can rewrite there policies and take your earned commission check. Many people who join these companies are so excited at the prospect of landing the whale pay out  that the normal novice would neither understand or realize that the company has nothing but themselves in mind as to compensations.

This why in marketing you must read everything and realize the traps that can cost you. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. If you truly want to make your multi level marketing business a success then take the time to do the research necessary. Remember all multi level marketing companies will promise you they are the best and have many testimonials as to their legitimacy. However it is up to you to follow up on their claims.

What If I Told You It’s Not Your Fault.

What if I could tell you that it’s not your fault that you failing in your MLM.

You are probably telling yourself that you are just not working hard enough making cold calls, or you haven’t made a big enough list of friends and family, or you just don’t know what to do next.

The problem with some MLM companies and affiliate programs all they want is that you recruit, recruit, recruit.  They could care less on what your needs are or even how to help you once you get started.

My husband and I were in a company that all we did was sign up then recruit, recruit, recruit and also told to lie to anyone that asked us how our business was doing which was lousy.  In the three months we were in the company we made a whopping $3.00 for the 3 people we signed up and didn’t receive any of it because we needed $20 or $25 to get a check.  But they were right there to collect their monthly membership fee.

If it wasn’t for our friends Dave  and Darlene Mills letting us know about the free e-book Success in 10 Steps written by a now good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy.  This book opened my eyes to why I had failed.  The first thing was that I didn’t read my contract for the company. 

You may be asking the question just were is my contract.  They will be your policies and procedures.  Always, always read them they can tell you how hard you will have to work and whether your company has the right not to renew your contract.  Since then I have found a great team Bob and Anna Bassett.  They have a website that can teach you  how and  what to look for in a contract.  The site  www.togethertothetop.com along with the e-book and getting me in touch with the Mentoring For Free system we have learned so much that we will not make that some mistakes and now we are the mentors helping you by teaching you the tools and skills to find, learn, and teach the same system.   It’s called duplication.

This is another reason for failure.  Some up lines try to duplicate themselves.  It is easier to duplicate a proven system than a person.  We are told all the time it takes a team to build your business.  Be part of the team you are not alone.  We can help get your business going in the right direction and new heights.

A Long Term MLM Business or a Short Term Pain in the Neck.

Many people have no clue as to what they are doing when starting an MLM home business. That’s right many people start a MLM with one thing on their minds.

What is that?

To make money lots of money and they do not read or understand the policies or procedures before they sign up as a member.

Do not feel bad you are not alone if you fell for a quick trip down pain in the neck MLM business.

My wife has talked to many people who are so jaded at the idea of finding a real MLM home business. Many saw the fancy cars the big mansions and the guy or women holding huge wads of cash. With testimonials saying there first week they were pulling away with 3 grand a week. It’s automated you can make hundreds a day. I know you all have heard that or come across adds that claim this.

Many of you are so angry at being duped that you get bull headed and stay with a bad MLM company just to prove to yourself that you did not make a mistake. Determined that you will make something out of nothing work. We in the business of training people call this pride and ego. You are so angry knowing that you have been shined on by the glitz and glamour that your pride and ego will not let you go. You convince yourself that the next few bucks you put in to the company will be your golden egg. Your golden ticket to life time happiness and wealth. You say if that guy on the paper can do it well why can’t I after all what does he have I don’t.

Well first the guy has a lot of your money and other peoples money.
Second he or she probably could care less who they burn along the way.  My wife has heard many heart wrenching stories of people staying in no where MLM Businesses for years. Not one of them can say they made more money than they put out.

One women stated she was in a MLM Business that she was paying $50 dollars a month to be a member.  When my wife asked how much she had gotten back out of this company. The women said she made ten dollars. Ten Dollars out of months of paying in to her membership of $50.

WOW!

When asked why she was still with the company she said that they had promised her a free down line. My wife asked her how many people would she need in her down line to brake even with the $50 bucks she was spending. The women said she was only earning $1.00 dollar a person. Meaning she would need to have in her down line 50 people at all times just to brake even that’s before she actually made a profit by getting over fifty people and her profit would still be nothing she could bank on. Because people in her MLM business have a high rate of dropping out. Lets see, can you say at those odds GO figure. I would not even play the slots in Las Vegas for those odds because the house would always win.

Now think of this can you even imagine how many people this MLM company was scamming.

Hell of course they could afford to pay out 10 bucks to their lower members when their profit was $40 right off the top. The fact is people are not smart they are foolish.

You may find this offensive to hear however if we are going to start to help you change your life around and see the light. You must face the fact that you did a bone head thing by getting involved with a MLM company without first understanding the skills you need to make your business a life time success rather than a short time pain in the neck.

Now I will say to you as I say to everyone it’s not your fault. I will say it again it’s not your fault.

I was a non thinking idea’s man myself. I want you to know that my wife and I were exactly where you may be right now just a few short months back we were involved in a MLM home business. Expecting to gain money to help support our lives because we were at the point of utter desperation as many of you are. My wife was laid off and I have not worked for quit some time because I have bad back problems.

That being said we did not know anything about MLM we had heard it was a way to make money and make good money. I remember saying these words well if it’s that easy we should look in to it.

My wife and I found out several things when we started out.

• One fools rush in.
• Two a fool and his money are soon parted.
• Three people do not like people they like money and they are sharks swimming around every one looking for a life line to save them selves from drowning debt.

What you have to remember is that when these sharks smile and say come join me over here. Look at their teeth first they are not there for show and tell these MLM companies have all the tricks and tools to draw you in and eat your bank accounts up then spit out what’s left of you. Leaving you hating life and a real pain in the neck.

The fact is for as many sharks that are out there. There are just as many life boats and you have to swim for them to succeed. The life boats that ask for money to pluck you out of your drowning debt  are not what you need. Remember there are Pirates out there as well and many are just as bad offering great opportunities with little to no pay out for all your hard earned work to stay financially  afloat.

One person asked how do you know which MLM business is the right one.

Well first as Tammy and I thru the grace of god discovered before we got in to deep and had lead weights we could not support pulling us down like so many others. We found a free E-Book on line called Success in 10 steps by Michael Dlouhy that explained why so many people get suckered in to pain in the neck short term MLM business and why once they are in them end up staying rooted to them or just quite altogether. Believing there are no true safe MLM business to get involved with.

The Winding Road

Many times I have had fears in my life. Fears that seemed to hold me back as to learning what my true potential could be. As I grew it was negative idea’s that influenced the better part of my thinking because I was always around negative people. My home life was that of constant fighting and in between the fighting was small periods of quiet conscientious  thought as to what I now believe my whole family must have been thinking. The thoughts of is this all there is or will ever be.

My father was a man who may have had big dreams and may have guessed that he would one day achieve them. However he was not a dream chaser or a man that could visualize his future as anything bigger than the small world he created with my mother, who at times was a controlling power house when it came to anything that took place in our lives.

I could not say why she chose to marry my father. After these many years I wonder what it truly was. What was she thinking the night he proposed. Did she marry my father out of true love or some sort of pitiful acceptance that perhaps no one with a better offer would come her way.  However I feel that she may have known that my father was a content man as to his lot in life the way he saw it.
A life to be employed or in service of others.  One he may have believed was the life he had to do because he had a family to support.

However before that family and my mother I have to ask would he have understood the fundamentals of  becoming a true success. As I have lived with my family it seems small hills were huge triumphs for my father well the down falls off those hills seem to stick with him always as some one stuck in a situation that had know hope of changing.

So he never tried.

In much of my life I believe it was that reason there were so many negatives in our home. It was my father’s despair as to what he had chosen to do with his life that seemed to be forced on all of us  in the house.

My mothers decision in marrying my dad knowing that he would never change or try for anything other than what he held in his hands. Makes me question the ideas that she as well may never of had the will to see beyond the now.

Her future was a mother then  for many years that was her job if she wanted more there was really no sign because I never noticed my mother ever striving for anything other than being part of the family dynamics. Many of the fights in the house as I grew up were about money and the lack there of. However I always thought if money was such a concern and really mattered why had she or my father not taken the steps to change there lot in life. I thought maybe they were afraid and had a fear as I have had of utter complete failure so to avoid it they never tried to achieve anything. In that since cementing all that they did. Negative wisdom of don’t try and you will not be disappointed when your efforts do not achieve success.

They could not see the forest for the trees. Blinded so much with the possibility of failure and being poor they became just what they were so afraid of. Poor and in negative failures struggling for years to achieve that which gave them so much fear.

So they never got it.

They never broke the chain of acceptance. Even later after my mother went back to work she never tried for any of the top positions in the job. It was always one job level just above her pay grade that she spent many years trying to obtain.

I asked her once would her time have been better spent working for the position that would have given her the maximum pay instead of working always under some one for minimal wages that forced her to work longer hours to show she was worthy of that ten or twenty cent raise. That took just as many if not more years to achieve as it would have taken to study for the best position. She tried to say that she did not want the better position.

The fact is many people convince themselves that they do not want true success because they are living in fear as to gaining true success. Many people have low self esteem to the point that if they understood how to gain success they would realize to maintain it they would have to change there mind set and become positive and draw only positive to themselves. It is so much easier for most to remain negative and pull others down to that negative point of view. Because some how it gives them a justification for the reason they are failures as to attaining the dream of life long success we all want.

It is a fact that from the day we are born we all want stuff the better the stuff the more we want it. The human condition is never satisfied with anything they have. If something has a value placed on it the human mind starts thinking that it must have it regardless whether it’s something we need.

We are all brought up on the thought newer is better and when we see others who have the newer things we begin to make up reasons as to why we do not have those things. We say we do not want them or we are not interested in having the bills that come with the life style. However we are all liars. We all want everything that every one else has. Now here is the big trick we all could very well have anything we want from jobs to items to nice houses to what ever we dream. So why do we not have these things.

The idea was always in my mind as I grew up however I never realized the problem was not in me however in the way I was shown the world by those that I grew up with. I was never shown how to gain success. I was shown how to be a failure in a home of people who also was never shown how to be a success as they grew.

I do not blame my father or my mother for my life’s failures I blame myself for not seeing that I did not have to follow the same paths they chose for their lives. Each moment I have achieved success was a wasted moment in my life looking for my families approval as to that success. Because they would never see it or understand something they had never achieved or had.

It’s funny when I think about my schooling I ask myself why did I get good grades. Was it because I wanted to achieve them or was it because it was what would have made others happy. I remember working so hard on my grades one year and was so proud to have achieved a c+ average. To me that was a huge achievement of success because  it really was a subject that I really did not like or seemed to be good at. My excitement turned to utter distain when my father and mother looked at the grade and yelled at me saying I had no reason to be proud of being average. I could have worked harder or done better.  At the time I did not know what to say.

However today I would think back and say we are the products of  the negatives around us always and each man’s success is weighed and measured by the positives that create a true will in us to do better.
If my mother and father would have said they were proud of me and that next time I should even try harder to even get a better grade. My mind would have leapt to the next hill as saying your right I could do better if I achieved this then I can achieve anything. Moving my young mind forward. However their failure in belief in me became my failure in belief in myself  and placed me in a negative as to feeling I was unable to be anything but average so why bother.
I do not know why in our lives we are subject to this kind of training.

What purpose does it serve?

Many of us have all been part of this type of life and now when we see a desire we see it as something to be feared instead of explored as to how fare we can go achieve it.

Today I listened to a phone call with a prospective client who was so worried as to what others opinions may be toward her that she began to emphasize her success was determined by what others made or did in their lives. It made me think of my child hood those many years ago.

We must all understand out of this lesson that our success in life has nothing to do with anyone except what we see and feel are achievements. Each life is different with different wants and desires that all are for the best we can obtain. Rather it be someone else’s thought we must measure ourselves not by their wills but our own and if we start to see that as a society then we most certainly will go to a more positive prosperous world.

With mentoring for free you will find people who do not judge on how big or small achievements are however we nurture them to become the most they can be  and all they can be by positive reinforcement of new ideas that out shadow the old negative ones.

Life is a winding road that we all travel no matter where we start or where we find ourselves we can all help each other get off the winding road of short failures to a strait road that leads to success in the highest positions.

To Your Success

In today’s post I would like to talk about going back to a full time job after being laid off for over a year.

Many of you are now on the road to recovery as to finding some sort of job out their that may be your saving grace as to bills and just bringing food in to the house.

However I would like to give a word of caution and a buyer beware clause.

Today as I have gone over a few calls I was interested to hear that many who are just at the end of their unemployment and are on their last legs have begun to relies that there is no life line being tossed their way by any one that claim you can make thousands of dollars by just spending what money you have.

It’s like one woman said I have been looking for work for a year now and have found truly nothing in my town or the adjoining ones that could support my kids and me.  I have wasted a lot of effort trying home jobs after home jobs only to find that I have wasted precious time and money that could have been better spent.

She then found a real home business that truly was what she needed and felt like crying.  She then said, “If only I would have realized a long time ago that if I want to get back on board the USA Job ship of employment.  I would have to swim for it.  And read the policies and procedures very carefully.” 

The fact is I realized that so called life lines being tossed were for the two big to fails while we at the bottom are being left to drown or be eaten by the sharks. People who are looking to scam us out of what we have left in spirit, pride, and money.

So I’ve decided the best way to beat the system is to run against it.  I have found a free group of mentors that can teach the skills that I have been missing.  Skills to Identify work at home scammers, a group that can save me as well as others years of failure and frustrations and all the feelings of not being able to succeed.

Now I realize that not everyone out there will have the desire to work for themselves or the need to break away from the old idea’s that have caused the United States to decline so rapidly in its work force.

However by getting out there and being a helpful voice you to can get the winds blowing in your direction and maybe a few life lines that help people just like yourselves who need these vital skills to be a success in this changing economic future.

Many people that are heading back to work are doing it on their own wind power they are giving up on the business industry all together.
Because they know that working for someone else will always leave them vulnerable to downfalls in the work force.  However if you put your time in a home business that has all the right people you are investing in a solid future with no lay offs or down turns.

By focusing on your business with the right skills you can create life long success in any economic situation.  You owe it to yourself to learn these skills and to get the help you need by the people who do it for free.

It’s about people helping people the way true business should be run.
If the government would have understood this fact the United States work force would be stronger than ever.

Oh No TVI is Taking a Hit By The FBI.

I was just reading on www.mlmwatchdog.com that the FBI is taking down TVI Express after they had 284,000 people joined the last 8 months and $93 million in revenue in a huge ponzi scheme. 

RED FLAGS everywhere.

ACCC ordered all presentations be stopped and to refrain from taking ant more payments and making payments to participants. 

To make this worse I seen a name in the list of people that may have been saved if they would have read and continued to go through the training that Mentoring For Free gives out freely.  Yes reading Success in 10 Steps could have saved this person years of the failure and frustration they will be going through in the months to come.
